Glamping in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – luxury camping in the park of Schloss Gültz

Just imagine: you wake up, and the first thing you see is a 150-year-old giant of a tree, beyond it the manor pond shimmering in the morning light, and behind the trees the silhouette of a historic manor house. That is glamping in the Schloss Gültz manor park – luxury camping in a place you would otherwise only find in a history book.

Staying overnight in the Lenné park – where history meets nature

The Lenné park of Schloss Gültz was laid out in the English style following an embellishment plan by Peter Joseph Lenné (1840). A landscape park with ponds, sightlines and trees more than 200 years old – among them red horse chestnuts, magnolias, plane trees and pyramidal oaks.

During the season from May to October you can stay overnight in the middle of this historic park – in the canvas bell tent right by the manor pond, or with your own motorhome on our camper pitch in the park.

The bell tent “Arabian Nights by the Manor Pond”

Our 5-metre bell tent stands on the bank of the manor pond in the former deer park, where the von Maltzahn family’s hunting parties once set out to stalk. Today you can expect roe deer, birds of prey and silence beneath the starry sky of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Included in the price from €85 per night:

  • Overnight stay in the 5 m canvas bell tent for 2 people
  • Double bed with bed linen and pillows
  • Boho furnishings and atmospheric lighting
  • Use of the manor park and the sanitary facilities in the historic wash house

Optional extras: breakfast with regional produce (€15 per person), manor tour guided by the owner, fireside evening in the manor house.

Motorhome pitch in the manor park

For motorhomes and camper vans we offer a spacious camper pitch with a 16 A electric hook-up right in the historic Lenné park – €28 per night including electricity. You park beneath old trees with a view of the manor house, with the region’s finest cycling and walking routes right on your doorstep. All details about the camper pitch.

The perfect location – 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea

Schloss Gültz is conveniently situated between the Mecklenburg Lake District and the Baltic coast:

  • 45 minutes to the Baltic coast (Greifswald, Usedom)
  • 25 km to Neubrandenburg
  • 150 km from Berlin
  • 15 minutes to the A20 (Altentreptow junction)

From here you can set off on cycling tours to Lake Kummerow, kayaking trips on the Tollense and day trips to Usedom or Rügen – and return in the evening to your own private manor park.

Who is glamping in the manor park for?

For everyone looking for something special: couples who want to escape everyday life. Families who want to experience history first-hand. Photographers and nature lovers who want to capture the mist over the manor pond at five in the morning. Companies planning an unforgettable team offsite.
