North Italian Villa
Built 1868–1872 to plans by Schwerin's Georg Daniel, the manor combines North Italian villa architecture with Prussian historicism. 99 rooms spread across 2,278 m².
The Mirror Hall of 1872
Sky-blue stucco, gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers – the 156 m² ballroom with 6.80 m ceiling height is the centrepiece of the manor. For over 150 years, the stage for grand celebrations, concerts and unforgettable weddings.

Shortly after completion in 1873, publisher Alexander Duncker recorded Schloss Gültz in his monumental work Die ländlichen Wohnsitze, Schlösser und Residenzen der Ritterschaftlichen Grundbesitzer in der preußischen Monarchie, Volume XIII, Plate 763. The engraving by F. Lüdecke shows the south facade in its original state.

Schloss Gültz maintains the centuries-old journeyman tradition. Craftsmen on their Walz find accommodation and meals with us in exchange for skilled help restoring our historic monument – UNESCO World Heritage since 2015.
