3. Data Collection

Server Log Files

Our hosting provider automatically collects server log files (browser type, OS, referrer URL, IP address, time). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Deleted after 7 days. Not combined with other data sources.

Cookies

Only technically necessary cookies are used. No tracking, no profiling, no advertising. Cookie sg_cookie: stores consent (12 months). Cookie schloss_lang: stores language selection (12 months). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Contact Form

Name, email, subject and message are stored to process your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Deleted after 3 years or upon request.

4. Hosting & WordPress

This website runs on WordPress (open source CMS). The hosting provider stores data on servers in the EU. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place. The WordPress Media Library contains only images and documents uploaded by the operator — no visitor data is stored in the media library.

No public user accounts are available on this website.

7. Historical Image Material

This website publishes historical photographs (19th / early 20th century) of Schloss Gültz and the von Maltzahn family, either in the public domain or owned by the operator. All depicted persons have been deceased for many decades. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in conjunction with § 23 para. 1 KUG (legitimate interest in cultural heritage documentation). No personal data of living persons — particularly no IBAN numbers, bank account details or personal documents — are published.
