Good to Know

Is the vehicle insured?

Yes, fully comprehensive insurance is included. The excess is €1,000 and is held as deposit. Breakdown and towing service is covered by Mercedes Assistance.

Can I drive abroad?

Yes, travel within the EU is permitted – ideal for Scandinavia via the Rostock ferry, the Baltic coast in Poland or Denmark. Please mention when booking.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets on request – please mention when booking. An additional cleaning fee of €50 applies.

How does the deposit work?

On booking confirmation, 30% of the rental price is due by bank transfer or PayPal. The balance is paid at vehicle handover (cash, PayPal or bank transfer).

What exactly is the pop-up roof?

A James Baroud pop-up roof – the roof opens hydraulically and provides a full double bed with panoramic windows in the upper deck. During the day you drive with the roof closed, in the evening you open it in seconds and have a bedroom with starry sky views.
